Sponsored Reviews

I am always looking for ways to make some extra cash. One way that I have found is with SponsoredReviews.com. It is a company that provides bloggers with an opportunity to review websites and products for cash. You bid on projects or advertisers find you and make an offer.

You see all the requirements up front. For example, some advertisers only want certain PR, or a minimum number of words for review. All requirements are mentioned up front…including due date. No surprises.

Sponsored reviews is also great for companies that want to be reviewed. They set the amount they are willing to pay for a review and all other details. They approve or disapprove and receive the review with a back link and review of their site.

I joined sponsored reviews in late 2007. I only do what I know I can review ethically and things I am willing to endorse. I choose. Plus, I need to have the TIME. LOL.

In 2007 I made: $67.75

In 2008 I made: $323.05

And, so far this year I have made: $52.00

Sure, it’s not a ton of cash, but in my experience, they DO pay and any cash at this point is a good thing!

So, if you have a blog, like to write…or are willing to write, Sponsored Reviews may be just the option for you to earn a few extra bucks!

Make Money with Your Blog

By: Danny Warner

Blogging for cash is a simple concept, but a lot of people seem to be blogging for free. There’s no point in driving traffic to your blog without having some way to profit from all of that traffic. Once you’ve taken the time to research keywords, plan your blog posts and set up your blog, the next step is to add moneymaking elements to your blog.

There are a few basic ways to profit from a blog, or any website for that matter. Banner ads are displayed on the borders of a web page. Each time your page is viewed with the banner ad, you are paid. Normally a banner ad program is paid out at a certain rate per 1000 visitors. Although banner ads are popular or many types of website, there are other more effective means of monetizing your blog. The following technique normally pays better rates than banner ads, and is more worth your time.

Pay-per-click ads are a more effective means of gaining income from a blog. You get paid each time a visitor clicks on an ad displayed on your page. Google Adsense is the most popular pay-per-click ad provider. Google has the largest inventory of ads and also pay the most per click. Additionally, Adsense ads are targeted toward the content that appears on the website. For example, if your blog focuses on small business software, the Adsense ads will be for small business software. The content of the blog determines the ads that appear. This has a major advantage. Because the ads are related to what you reader is reading about, they are more likely to click on the ads, which means that the ads can be very profitable for you.

Signing up with Google Adsense is relatively simple. Since Google took over Blogger.com, they have started to accept accounts from blog owners rather quickly. Plus, if you use Blogger, inserting Google Adsense is extremely simple. It is recommended that you only apply for Adsense after you have at least 500 words posted on your Blog.

Once you’ve set up your account with Adsense make sure to read the “programs policy” section carefully. There are a few things that can get your Adsense account shut down, and Adsense is such a good source of income it would be hard to replace it with something else.

Keep in mind that once you’ve placed the Adsense ads into your blog it will take about 48 hours until the relevant ads appear. After this period of time, if you notice that the ads that are appearing are not relevant to your content you’ll need to do some keyword optimization. Look at your blog posts and titles through the eyes of a search engine spider. Are you using your keywords effectively? How many times do you main keywords appear? Try adding your main keywords at least once per paragraph and make sure to use them in the title of your blog posts as well. This will help increase the relevancy of your ads, which will lead to more clicks and more profits for you.

Make Your Money Online With An Affiliate Program

By: James lowe

There are many good ways to make extra money online, but one way that stands out, at this time in internet history, is affiliate marketing.

In affiliate marketing, you search for and join an excellent affiliate program, and essentially help your merchant partner to sell his goods and services, either through direct salesmanship or through advertising. For your assistance efforts, in this regard, you will receive a percentage of the sales that you generate for your partner.

Having your own website is essential to your success with affiliate programs. As long as you have a well-designed site with a regular flow of visitors, making extra money online will not be too difficult.

Most of the work you will have to do in affiliate marketing involves creating, improving, and tweaking your website so that you can achieve more traffic.

Here are two tips you might want to consider when building and upgrading your web site. Following these tips will help you create a more content friendly site, thus enabling you to generate superior returns for your efforts.

Understand your market. Your site should cater to a specific niche market. Resist the temptation to be a site that caters to “one and all”, for you will make less money that way. Instead, analyze the current market and decide on the area that can yield the most profit for you.

Without specialization, your efforts will be wasted in too many directions, with the result that you may achieve mediocre results in all areas, but never outstanding results in one or two areas. Spreading yourself too thin is a very real danger and must be avoided.

You’re much better off choosing a topic or product that you know and love, than choosing five topics or products that you don’t understand. You won’t be making extra money online if you don’t specialize. Got it?

Advertise intelligently. Because you are a website builder, you must always keep the end product in mind. Will your finished site be something that people will want, or have to, get more of? Will they want to visit regularly, or will they be turned off by what’s there?

Many site builders make the mistake of just putting up banners and links wherever they can. If it were you visiting the site, would you actually bother to click on these ads, especially when they are nothing more but a nuisance?

You might manage to earn a few dollars using this method, but in the long term, you couldn’t possibly hope for long-term success. The deep secret is to use good links and banners related to your site.

Try to build your site with your readers in mind, and provide for what they will need and want.

In affiliate marketing, as in all other businesses, many people scrape by while others make a fortune. The difference lies in the strategies that they adopt, and in the intelligence they apply to their efforts.

You owe it to yourself to be included in the elite few. As long as you stay committed to excellence, making extra money online will not be difficult for you. Remember, you want to be a maker, not a scraper.
